  • Each paragraph after the first should be indented.
  • First Paragraph (Lead): Include location (Capitalised) and a brief summary of the incident. Who, What, Where, When, Why.

Eg. SAN FERNANDO - Two thieves attempted to…

  • The rest of the report must give details, including quotes; written in third person; active verbs.
  • End article with a catchy phrase.

  • Left Aligned
  • Underlined

Body:

  • Regular paragraph format; each paragraph indented.

Checklist:

  • Trends/Significant Figures to Note.
  • Is the Content Accurate/Relevant?
  • Is the Info Logically Arranged?
  • Is the Report Fluent/Accurate/Grammatically Correct?
